Three days old in job, Srikakulam seaman killed in US mishap

SRIKAKULAM: A Srikakulam youth was reportedly killed in a freak mishap in the United States, within three days of joining the job. The youth, identified as Ravikumar, hailed from Srikakulam’s Santhabommali mandal.

Ravikumar arrived in the US on January 17, 2023. He was appointed as a seaman in the US. According to reports, Ravikumar had a fatal fall following a slip from a ship’s container. However, complete details about the incident are yet to be known.
