Two killed, one injured after bike falls into well in Eluru

ELURU: Two youths lost their lives, and one was seriously injured after the two-wheeler they were riding fell into a well after losing control at Kanasanapally village of Agiripally Mandal in Eluru.

The trio were heading to participate in the New Year celebrations in Kalasanapally village during the early hours of Sunday night.

However, as they were about to reach their destination, they hit a herd of buffaloes, lost control, and fell into a well close to the road. The three youths involved in the accident were later identified as locals from Nuna village.

The police reached the scene and initiated an investigation as to how the accident happened. The deceased were shifted to the hospital for post-mortem while the injured was admitted for treatment.
