YSRCP Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy responded to the notice served on him by the CBI in connection with the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case
KADAPA: YSRCP Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy responded to the notice served on him by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case. Alleging that a section of the media was spreading falsehood against him and his family for the last two and a half years, Reddy said that he was pained over it and claimed that people of the Kadapa district were well aware of his character and his non-controversial style of living.
Asserting that justice would prevail, Avinash Reddy said that he would pray to God for the truth to come out in his paternal uncle's murder case and the false allegations against him. The YSRCP MP urged those who are making allegations against him to think how it affects one's family members.
The CBI officials, probing YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case, came to Pulivendula on Monday. The agency served notices on Avinash Reddy asking him to appear before it for questioning on Tuesday. However, he sought five days’ time saying that he was busy with his scheduled programmes. However, on Tuesday, Avinash Reddy clarified that he would attend the CBI investigation if the agency called him again.
