Why equate Naidu's interim bail to truth's victory, questions Sajjala
Sajjala said that Naidu was granted conditional bail by the court only on health grounds and it was not at all an issue to discuss
AMARAVATI: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) general secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy on Tuesday took strong exception to the celebrations by the TDP leaders and cadres after the court granted interim bail to former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation scam.
Reacting on Naidu’s interim bail, Sajjala told media that Naidu was granted conditional bail by the court only on health grounds and it was not at all an issue to discuss. “The former Chief Minister’s role in the skill scam is very clear. Further details of the scam will be unearthed after questioning P Srinivas, a key aide of Naidu. How will truth win after the former Chief Minister is given interim bail? Right from the beginning of his political career, Naidu managed the institutions for his benefit,” he said.
Launching a scathing attack on Naidu, the YSRCP general secretary alleged that the former Chief Minister had diverted Government funds through various shell companies and finally went into the hands of his benamis. “The former Chief Minister should answer whether the funds are diverted to his shell companies or not. What indication Naidu wants to give to people on his interim bail given by the court on health grounds. If Naidu is really sick, he should get treatment and go back to jail,” Sajjala said, and dared the former Chief Minister to prove his innocence by submitting evidence.
Referring to the skin diseases of Naidu, Sajjala said, “It is a nuisance to mention about the skin diseases of the former Chief Minister who has shown his health condition as fatal and got interim bail from the court. The TDP leaders should feel ashamed for celebrating Naidu’s interim bail. There are even no discussions on the case merit.”
