Won’t be be cowed down by conspiracies of political wolves: YS Jagan
He said he was only depending on the support of the people and God and appealed to them to stand by the YSRCP in the next elections and work for its victory
MULAPETA: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday reiterated that he would not be intimidated by the gathering of political wolves for electoral advantage, and urged the people not to be mislead by the Goebbels propaganda unleashed against him by the TDP and its friendly media.
Speaking at a public meeting here on Wednesday, the Chief Minister claimed the pro-capitalist TDP and his “foster son” were conveniently building partnerships against the YSRCP, which was dedicated to the welfare of the poor.
The political wolves, who had no accomplishments to their name, had been waging a dark war against him and relentlessly spreading lies to discredit the Government and the YSRCP, he said, urging the people not to fall prey to their bad propaganda.
He declared that a war had broken out between the YSRCP, which had been working for the welfare of the people, and the TDP and its sympathetic media, which had the support of the capitalists, and that the Opposition's ulterior motives would be defeated.
“I don’t have the backing of the media like the TDP and I don’t have ‘foster sons’ like its President Chandrababu Naidu. Only you are only my confidence and courage,” he said, asking the people to become his soldiers if they felt they had benefitted from the welfare schemes of the Government.
He said he was only depending on the support of the people and God and appealed to them to stand by the YSRCP in the next elections and work for its victory.
