Youth ends life out of fear after losing Rs. 78,000 in an online game in Konaseema

A young man died by suicide after losing around Rs.78,000 by playing an online game on his mobile in the Konaseema district of Andhra Pradesh

RAJAHMUNDRY: A young man died by suicide after losing around Rs.78,000 by playing an online game on his mobile in the Konaseema district of Andhra Pradesh.

The deceased identified as Sathvik was addicted to smartphones and was playing online games losing money frequently.

Meanwhile, Sathvik's aunt who resides in Dubai sent Rs. 78,000 to Sathvik for his grandfather's surgery

However, Sathvik used the money for online games and lost the total money. Sathvik, who was in a panic that the elders would reprimand him for playing online game and losing money, took the extreme step and died by suicide.

The police registered a case and are investigating.
