VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSR Congress president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday commenced his Memantha Siddham bus yatra after a day's break.
Consequent upon an attack on him on Saturday when he sustained a head injury and was sutured restarted his bus yatra from Kesrapalli camp where he rested for a day on the advise of doctors.
He began meeting people sitting on the footboard of the bus, even as massive crowds welcomed him in Gannavaram Assembly constituency of Krishna district.
The bus yatra will traverse through Gannavaram constituency, Atkur village, Veeravalli Cross, Hanuman junction, Puttagunta Village (Gudivada constituency), and halt at Jonnapadu Village for lunch. After resuming the bus yatra from Jonappadu and passing through Janardanapuram, the Chief Minister will arrive at VKR Group of Institutions on Eluru Road (Gudivada constituency) to address the Memantha Siddham Sabha.
After the public meeting, the bus yatra will proceed towards Hanuman Junction National Highway, then Gundugolanu, and conclude in Narayanapuram (Unguturu constituency) for an overnight stay.
