YS Jagan inaugurates Global Investors Summit amid hopes
The Global Investors Summit would emphasize the advantages of investing in Andhra Pradesh across 14 industries
VISAKHAPATNAM: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy inaugurated the two-day Global Investors' Summit 2023 on Friday at the AU Engineering College grounds in Visakhapatnam.
The Global Investors Summit would emphasize the advantages of investing in Andhra Pradesh across 14 industries, including IT, agriculture, health, pharmaceuticals, tourism, MSME, startups, renewable energy, defence, aerospace, handlooms and textiles, logistics, food processing, maritime, and others.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy announced the summit's commencement on Twitter.
He tweeted, "As we kick off today, we're eager to showcase the vast potential of our State. This summit will be instrumental in strengthening our ecosystem and in creating opportunities for our youth. Let's work together to drive growth and prosperity in Andhra Pradesh. #AdvantageAP".
The theme of the World Investors Summit 2023 is "Advantage Andhra Pradesh - Where Abundance Meets Prosperity," and over 200 stalls have been set up, with over 30 showcasing the numerous advantages of making investments in Andhra Pradesh in 14 key industries identified by the government.
The venue features five huge halls, and each one will host a different event, such as meetings, seminars, and government-to-business (G2B) meetings. The event would draw more than 8,000 dignitaries and investors from India and 40 other nations, including China and the USA.
Industry giants including Mukesh Ambani, Kumar Mangalam Birla, and prominent members of the Godrej, Tata, Raheja, and Mahindra families have confirmed their participation in addition to a number of Union Ministers.
