YS Jagan participates in ‘poornahuti’ of Lakshmi Maha Yagnam in Vijayawada

YS Jagan participated in the ‘poornahuti’ of ‘Ashtottara Satha Kundatmaka (108) Chandi, Rudra, Raja Syamala and Sudarshana Sahitha Sri Lakshmi Maha Yagnam’ at the IGMC Stadium

VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Wednesday participated in the ‘poornahuti’ of ‘Ashtottara Satha Kundatmaka (108) Chandi, Rudra, Raja Syamala and Sudarshana Sahitha Sri Lakshmi Maha Yagnam’ at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation (IGMC) Stadium.

The Chief Minister offered silk saree (pattu cheera) to Goddess Mahalakshmi in the Abhisheka Mandapam. He was received at the yagnasala by Deputy Chief Minister and Endowments Minister K Satyanarayana and Endowments Commissioner S Satyanarayana.

Priests performing the yagnam welcomed YS Jagan by reciting Vedic hymns and handed over the ‘Sesha Vastralu’. Home Minister Taneti Vanitha, Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, Housing Minister Jogi Ramesh, TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy and his wife, and several MLAs and senior officials participated in the yagnam.
