YS Jagan touches Biswabhushan’s feet during send-off to outgoing Governor

VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy gave a warm send-off to the outgoing Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan and his wife at the Gannavaram airport here on Wednesday. Harichandan, who was appointed as Chhattisgarh Governor, and his wife later flew to Raipur.

Interesting scenes were witnessed on this occasion as YS Jagan touched the feet of Biswabhushan Harichandan to express his respect and admiration for the outgoing Governor. Both the Chief Minister and the former Governor enjoyed cordial relations during the latter’s tenure as the Governor of Andhra Pradesh. The Chief Minister on this occasion said that outgoing Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan was like a father figure to him and he extended his full support to his government.

Housing Minister Jogi Ramesh, Andhra Pradesh Agri Mission Vice-Chairman M V S Nagi Reddy, Chief Secretary Dr K S Jawahar Reddy, DGP K V Rajendranath Reddy, Legislative Council Chairman K Moshen Raju, senior officials and people’s representatives accompanied the Chief Minister to the airport to see off Biswabhushan Harichandran and his wife.
