YS Viveka murder case: CBI court summons YS Avinash Reddy on August 14
The CBI Court on Friday served a fresh notice on YSRCP MP YS Avinash Reddy, summoning him to appear before it in Hyderabad on August 14
HYDERABAD: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Court on Friday served a fresh notice on YSRCP MP from Kadapa YS Avinash Reddy, summoning him to appear before it in Hyderabad on August 14, 2023.
The Court took the supplementary chargesheet filed by the CBI into consideration in which it had mentioned the names of YS Avinash Reddy, YS Bhaskar Reddy and Uday Kumar Reddy in connection with the murder case of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy. Apart from that, the CBI had also formally named YS Avinash Reddy as accused No. 8, while YS Bhaskar Reddy and Uday Kumar Reddy were named as accused No. 6 and 7 respectively.
It may be recalled that the CBI had arrested Uday Kumar Reddy on April 14 and YS Bhaskar Reddy on April 16. All the accused, who were kept in Chanchalguda Jail, appeared before the CBI Court on Friday. The court extended their remand till August 14 and directed the CBI to produce YS Avinash Reddy, who was on anticipatory bail before the court, without fail on that day.
