YS Viveka murder: Eyewitness Ranganna falls sick, in SVIMS ICU
Ranganna can be shifted to Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad, keeping in view the security aspect and the sensitivities involved in the case
TIRUPATI: Watchman Ranganna, a key eyewitness in YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case, is being treated in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) in Tirupati on Thursday. He fell sick two days ago and was admitted to the premier medical institute here.
According to police, watchman Ranganna, who has been suffering from an unspecified respiratory disease, took ill on Tuesday. He was treated at a local hospital first before being admitted to SVIMS for better treatment. He is undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors.
Meanwhile, a few unconfirmed reports claim that Ranganna could be shifted to Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad, keeping in view the security aspect and the sensitivities involved in the case. The news of Ranganna falling sick comes close on the heels of the CBI intensifying its probe into the murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy.
Recently, the central agency has inspected a few houses in Pulivendula including that of Krishna Reddy, the personal assistant of YS Vivekananda Reddy.
