HYDERABAD: YSRCP MP Avinash Reddy's father YS Bhaskar Reddy, who is on remand at Chanchalguda Jail in the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case, suddenly fell ill on Friday and was rushed to Osmania Hospital due to high blood pressure, even as intense hearing took place before Telangana High Court vacation bench on the Kapada MP's anticipatory bail plea.

According to reports, the cops shifted him back to the jail after the treatment. YS Avinash Reddy, on the other hand, accompanied his mother Srilakshmi from Kurnool to Hyderabad on Friday before she was admitted to the AIG Hospitals in Gachibowli for further medical care.

On May 19, 2023, his mother was admitted to Viswa Bharati Hospital in Kurnool after she suffered a heart attack a day before in Pulivendula. Vishwa Bharati Hospital doctors also released a health bulletin claiming that her condition was stable and that she had been discharged.

Meanwhile, the Telangana High Court continued the arguments on MP YS Avinash Reddy's anticipatory bail petition for the second day on Friday.
