YSR Arogyasri services soon in Mangalagiri AIIMS: AP Minister Vidadala Rajani

GUNTUR: Andhra Pradesh Minister for Medical and Health Vidadala Rajini on Monday said that the YSR Arogyasri services would soon be extended to the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Mangalagiri. "The Jaganmohan Reddy-led Andhra Pradesh Government has extended its complete support to the AIIMS," she added.
The Andhra Pradesh Government has signed an MoU with AIIMS to work on aspects like mental health and antimicrobial resistance, she said. adding, "Work related to providing fresh water in AIIMS has also begun." The Minister further said that the State Government had spent around Rs 55 crores for the development of infrastructure at AIIMS.
The Minister criticised former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for completely neglecting the AIIMS. "Chandrababu Naidu has done nothing for AIIMS," said the Minister.
