YSRCP fails to register single victory in eight districts, alliance dominates in almost all districts

AMARAVATI: The available trends indicate that the YSRCP failed to register its presence in at least eight districts. The party’s candidates were in the lead on one or two Assembly Constituencies in other districts indicating a landslide victory for the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance.

YSRCP failed to open its account in Krishna, Guntur, East Godavari, West Godavari, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Nellore and Prakasam districts. On the other hand, the alliance seems to be sweeping all these districts. The alliance is leading in 12 of the 14 seats in Anantapur and 12 of the 14 seats in Chittoor.

Alliance is leading in 19 out of 19 seats in East Godavari, 16 out of 17 seats in Guntur, and six out of 10 seats in Kadapa. They are leading in 15 out of 16 seats in Krishna district, 11 out of 14 in Kurnool, and eight out of 10 in Nellore.

Of the 12 seats in Prakasam district alliance is leading in 10, nine out of 10 in Srikakulam, 13 out of 15 in Visakhapatnam, eight out of nine in Vizianagaram, and 14 out of 15 in West Godavari.

YSRCP failed to open its account in the East Godavari district. The TDP won 22 assembly seats, including three parliamentary seats, in East Godavari district, while Pawan Kalyan is leading in Pithapuram.

In the erstwhile Vizianagaram district, the alliance won nine out of nine constituencies in the district and also the parliamentary seat. Sringarapukota - Kolala Lalitha Kumari (TDP), Nellimarla - Loka Naga Madhavi (Jana Sena), Vizianagaram Pusapati Aditi Gajapati Raju (TDP), Cheepurupalli Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao (TDP), Gajapati Nagar - Kondapalli Srinivas (TDP), Bobbili - Baby Nayana (TDP), Parvathipuram - Bonela Vijay Chandra (TDP), Salur -Gummadi Sandhyarani (TDP), and Kuruppam -Thoyaka Jagadeeswari (TDP).
