YSRCP leaders urges completion of Gunadala railway overbridge under Gati Shakti

DELHI: YSRCP leaders, including MP Kesineni Nani and Ayodhaya Rami Reddy, urged Railway Board chairperson Jayavarma Sinha to ensure the completion of Gunadala Railway Overbridge (LC No.8) under the Prime Minister's Gati Shakti project with 100 percent railway funds.
During a courtesy meeting at Rail Bhavan in Delhi on Monday, the leaders engaged in a comprehensive discussion, focusing on the necessity of including and completing the project. The delegation revealed that Andhra Pradesh had already invested Rs. 12 crores in essential land acquisition for the ROB.
They also highlighted the submission of all clearance certificates required for Railway Over Bridges (ROBs) at Rajarajeshwari Peta and Vambe colonies under the Gati Shakti Project. Swift granting of railway permissions was appealed for comprehensive regional development.
They sought approval for an additional box culvert route in the Ajit Singh Nagar area due to escalating traffic and permissions for various projects, including a road at the Ramakrishnapuram-Devinagar railway underpass.

The leaders also pleaded for the swift construction of a station building, a new foot-over bridge, and platform enhancement at Jaggayyapet railway station. They also proposed a passenger train service from Motumarri to Vishnupuram. The YSRCP delegation received a positive response from the chairperson during the presentation of their petition.
