2 killed, 3 injured in bus-SUV collision in Alluri Sitaramaraju district

RAMPACHODAVARAM: Two persons were killed while three others grievously injured in a collision of a private bus and an SUV in Alluri Sitaramaraju district on Thursday. The mishap took place at Palakalva near Jagarampalli of Rampachodavaram mandal.

The SUV, a Mahindra TUV, was heading to Maredumilli when it collided with the bus belonging to Gupta travels. The bus was proceeding to Rajahmundry.

The two persons, who died in the accident, were reportedly traveling in the SUV while the three injured were the passengers of the bus. It is also learnt that one of the injured from the bus, a woman teacher, was thrown out of the bus under the collision impact. She reportedly fell on the road after shooting through the front glass of the bus. Full details of the accident were not immediately known.
