Advocates' Association demands relocation of AP HC to Kurnool from Amravati

KURNOOL: The Kurnool District Advocates' Association on Thursday held a massive public rally demanding that the Andhra Pradesh High Court be relocated from Amaravati to Kurnool district.

The advocates urged that the Andhra Pradesh High Court relocation bill be presented to the assembly, approved as a resolution, and sent to the Supreme Court and the central government.

The Kurnool District Advocates' Association has planned to protest every day in a different way as long as the assembly meetings proceed. As part of today's protest, protestors took a bike rally from the district court grounds to the Kurnool Collector's office and handed over a memorandum outlining their demands to Kurnool Collector Koteswara Rao in order to draw the attention of the government.
