Kingpin of Sec'bad Railway Station violence arrested

Subba Rao is the owner of Sai Defence Academy (coaching centre for aspirants of defence services) and is suspected to have played a key role in perpetrating the violence and “organising the protesters”.

HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh police arrested on Saturday one Avula Subba Rao of Narasaraopet in AP in connection with the vandalism and arson at Secunderabad railway station.

Subba Rao is the owner of Sai Defence Academy (coaching centre for aspirants of defence services) and is suspected to have played a key role in perpetrating the violence and "organising the protesters".

According to the police, he has nine army coaching institutions in both Telugu States.

In the wake of Agnipath scheme, he allegedly created a "Hakimpet Army Soldiers group" on WhatsApp and had explained the plan of action to carry out the protests.

The police suspect that he had provoked all the students from his coaching institutes.

The Police arrested Subba Rao.
