Not involved in Delhi liquor scam, says YSRCP MP Magunta
YSRCP MP from Ongole Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy clarified that he and his family were not involved in the Delhi liquor scam.

ONGOLE: YSRCP MP from Ongole Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy clarified that he and his family were not involved in the Delhi liquor scam. They have been in the liquor trade for many decades and have been doing their business in an ethical manner, he claimed.
The MP came before the media on Monday, two days after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided his residence and office in Nellore district in connection with a money laundering probe linked to the Delhi liquor scam.
Srinivasulu Reddy said, "The allegations are baseless and we are not involved in the Delhi liquor scam in any way. We have been in the liquor business for 70 years and are running it properly and peacefully in over eight States. Previously, ED had searched our residences in Chennai and Delhi and concluded that there were no irregularities."
He also said that ED raids were merely related to business and not politics. The ruling party MP said that their family was responsibly running the business besides pursuing politics ethically. He also announced that he would be giving way to his son who, he said, would be contesting for the Ongole Lok Sabha seat in the next elections.
