Ship-modelling contest, highlight of Nau Sainik Camp 2022 in Visakhapatnam

VISAKHAPATNAM: The annual national NCC All India Nau Sainik Camp 2022, which started on October 2, 2022 at Naval Children School in Visakhapatnam, is being attended by 612 cadets from all over the country. Competitions along with Personality Development Capsules and Education tours for the cadets are being conducted.
The firing competition, held on October 5, was won by the team from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Directorate. The tough drill competition, conducted on October 6, was won by the team from the Odisha Directorate. The ship-modelling competition, where each team will make a ship model capable of being propelled by battery power, will conclude on October 9. The finals of the boat pulling competition will be held on October 10. The cadets, as part of their educational tours, also visited the Kursura Submarine and TU 142 Aircraft Museums. The Camp will end on October 11.
