AMARAVATI: Names of the probable candidates of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), who are likely to be contesting in the upcoming elections, also include names of candidates from the Jana Sena party.
Reportedly, party general secretary Nara Lokesh and his team are selecting candidates, looking for deserving people who could carry the responsibilities for the next two decades. It is also likely that a TDP-Jana Sena alliance would fall into place and that the latter is seeking 25-30 seats as part of that alliance.
According to sources, TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu's focus is on Krishna district.
After conducting a Constituency-wise survey, Vijayawada MP candidate is Kesineni Chinni (brother of sitting MP Nani).
Former MP Badiga Ramakrishna or his daughter are likely to contest from Bandar Lok Sabhar seat, Vasam Munaiyya or Uppuleti Kalpana from Tiruvuru, Gadde Anuradha from Gannavaram, Bode Prasad from Penamaluru and Varla Kumar Raja from Palmer were the tentative candidates.
Nadendla Manohar is likely to contest from the Vijayawada East as part of the Jana Sena alliance. However, there was no name given for the Gudivada candidate and a young public leader is likely to be selected.
