Tirumala assets worth Rs 85,795 crore, says TTD

TIRUPATI: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman YV Subba Reddy has announced that the TTD had 960 immovable properties and over 7,223 acres across the country. He said that the TTD's total assets amounted to Rs 85,795 crores.

YV Subba Reddy also said that the TTD had a fixed deposit of Rs. 14,000 crores in the public sector banks and 14 tonnes of gold reserves. He said that the TTD sold 113 immovable properties from 1974 to 2014.

The chairman said that the details of the property were uploaded on the TTD's website. Going by the assets announced by the TTD Chairman, it could be believed that the income of the temple had gone up due to the steady increase in donations in the last five months.

With its assets increasing at a rapid pace, the TTD is gearing up to open temples across the country and abroad.
