TIRUMALA: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) is gearing up to host its annual festival 'Brahmotsavam,' which is scheduled between September 27 and October 5 this year.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, TTD Executive Officer (EO) AV Dharma Reddy said that they were celebrating the annual festival in a grand manner and were anticipating a huge turnout of pilgrims for all the programs organized by the TTD.

To ensure safe and convenient darshan for all devotees, The TTD chief vigilance and security officer, Narasimha Kishore along with the EO inspected the preparations in Tirumala. The various entry and exit points in the four Mada streets were meticulously supervised by the officials. Ragi Manu area in Tirumala was also assessed by the supervisors to hold multitudes of visiting pilgrims on the day of Garuda Seva which is scheduled on October 1 this year.

TTD EO said, "Last two years, Brahmotsavam were observed inside the temple in a much smaller and silent environment owing to Covid pandemic restrictions. Therefore, this year we are expecting a huge crowd." He also urged the pilgrims to co-operate with the TTD for a hassle-free darshan.

Meanwhile, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) donated around Rs.30 lakh worth five 8-seater battery-operated vehicles to TTD in Tirumala on Thursday. After a small pooja, Managing Director of KVB B Ramesh Babu handed over the keys of the battery vehicles to TTD EO AV Dharma Reddy
