Two injured after brawl between devotees in Tirumala queue

TIRUPATI: Two people, who belonged to Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, were injured after they fell into a brawl with a group of people from Tamil Nadu at the Tirumala temple on Tuesday.

Reportedly, the two groups, one from Guntur and the other from Tamil Nadu, were waiting in the queue for toilets. The scuffle started when the former asked them to make way.

The number of devotees from Tamil Nadu was seen increasing as this month, Purattasi month, was considered to be holy in their community.
