Woman cop stages protest against drunk men harassing her in AP

GUNTUR: A woman police officer, SK Hasina, held a protest in front of the Secretariat in Yellamanda, Narasaraopet mandal, on Thursday, against two men who were allegedly harassing the woman after consuming alcohol.

Reportedly, the two accused, Swarna Sarath and Swarna Mallikarjuna Rao of the same village, consumed alcohol and misbehaved with her after which she lodged a complaint with the police on Wednesday.

In spite of the complaint, they misbehaved with her again, pushing her to protest.

Hasina's father said that some staff members of the Secretariat were supporting the harassment of his daughter Hasina.
