HYDERABAD: Prominent streaming platform Zee5 recently introduced a Hindi series centered around the Bhakti (devotion) theme, titled "Sarvam Shakthi Mayam." Despite its compelling storyline and talented cast, the series seems to have flown under the radar, resulting in limited awareness among viewers.
Noted Telugu writer BVS Ravi is the creator of the show and has penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues for the same. 47 Days Fame Pradeep Maddali is the director.
The show features a stellar ensemble cast, including Priyamani, Sanjay Suri, Samir Soni, Ashlesha Thakur, Subbaraj, and Abhay Simha Reddy. Spanning ten episodes, "Sarvam Shakthi Mayam" revolves around an atheist writer and an imperfect family who embark on a transformative pilgrimage to visit all 18 Shakthi-Peethas.
The web series went live yesterday, and surprisingly, the platform is not involved in promoting it heavily despite having a noted star cast in the series.
However, with the recent merger of Zee5 and SonyLIV, there is hope for significant changes and improvements in content strategy and promotion. Both platforms' combined strengths could lead to a better understanding of audience preferences and effective marketing of diverse offerings, including hidden gems like "Sarvam Shakthi Mayam."
