Adipurush Advance Bookings: Unexpected delay in ticket sales

HYDERABAD: With just four days remaining until its release, Adipurush has become one of the most highly anticipated films of the year. However, fans in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are eagerly awaiting the opening of advance bookings, which have not yet been made available. Despite the film unit confirming that the advance bookings will begin on Sunday, there is no sign of the same.

Typically, advance bookings for major releases open 7-10 days prior to the release date. However, Adipurush has deviated from this pattern due to the filmmakers' delay in obtaining permission from the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for ticket price hikes.

According to reports, the makers of the film are expected to receive permission from the Telangana government today, which will allow the bookings to be opened by evening. In Andhra Pradesh, the filmmakers have secured an appointment with the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) today. Once the meeting concludes, further clarity on ticket prices and advance bookings is expected to be provided.

Compared to films like RRR and KGF2, the pricing for Adipurush in the Telugu states is anticipated to be lower. The final approvals for the pricing are expected to be granted today, and once the government orders are issued, bookings will commence promptly.

Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush stars Prabhas and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles, further amplifying the excitement surrounding the film.
