Adipurush: Blockbuster producer Dil Raju is on the safe side

Prabhas's latest release Adipurush has been creating controversies since it hit the theatres. People are criticizing the way Ramayana was modernized and some of the cringe dialogues that were written in the movie.

In spite of such negative talk, Adipurush is getting good collections at the box office. In a way, these controversies are helping the movie grab people's attention.

Meanwhile, People's Media Factory acquired Adipurush's Telugu rights for a whopping amount of Rs. 185 crores. Initially, UV Creations was supposed to distribute the film in Telugu but for some reason, People's Media Factory came on board.

People's Media Factory tried to sell these rights to ace producer Dil Raju. But apparently, Dil Raju didn't show interest. It seems that the former asked Raju at least to buy the Nizam rights. Still, Raju didn't change his mind.

We hear that Dil Raju decided not to take any risk after losing around 30 crores in Shaakuntalam. That might be the reason why he didn't buy Adipurush's rights. In a way, it looks like he is on the safe side now because of his decision.
