HYDERABAD: There is no stopping for RRR even ten months after its release. In these ten months, RRR had a terrific global theatrical run, was a big hit in the OTT arena, was immensely loved by American audiences, and also won the Golden Globe Award.

Still, the movie continues to break and set up new records at the box office. RRR has now become the only Indian film to collect 800 million Japanese Yen in Japan. It means the film earned more than Rs. 50 crores in Japan. It is an incredible achievement for an Indian film.

It is expected that RRR will earn more than one billion Japanese Yen by the end of its theatrical run. Going by its rampage, it will take years for an Indian film to break RRR's records in Japan. Recently, RRR's song Naatu Naatu was also nominated for the Best Original Song category at the upcoming Oscars. The Academy Awards will be presented on March 13.

This SS Rajamouli directorial features NTR Jr and Ram Charan in the lead roles. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, and Olivia Morris played key roles in it.
