AP Government grants ticket price hike for Waltair Veerayya & Veera Simha Reddy

AMARAVATI: In a big relief for the Telugu Film Industry during Sankranthi season, ahead of the release of some big-ticket films like Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veeraya, the Jaganmohan Reddy government has decided to allow cinema ticket price hike in Andhra Pradesh.

The Andhra Pradesh government passed a new order, permitting a hike of either Rs 75+ or Rs 45+ GST for both Waltier Veeraya and Veera Simha Reddy.

Most of the new releases have been going with the standard ticket prices in the Telugu states. But as a lot of films are getting released for Sankranthi season, both Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya have gone for hiked prices.

While Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy is scheduled for release on 12th January, Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya is slated to releases on January 13, on the eve of Sankranti festival.

Let us hope that both the movies become a big hit at the box office.
