Babli Bouncer offers a Boring fest!

Tamannaah Bhatia used to be the numero uno actress in Tollywood a few years ago. But acting alongside senior heroes and signing OTT projects dented her career a bit in the recent past. Instead of sustaining her career, OTT projects are further sinking it down.

Recently, Tamannaah was seen in the film Babli Bouncer. Directed by acclaimed Bollywood filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, this movie had a direct release on Disney+ Hotstar the other day.

Tamannaah played the role of a female bouncer in the film. Madhur is known for making hard-hitting realistic female-oriented films like Page 3 and Fashion. People were surprised to see him making a comedy entertainer.

Babli Bouncer revolves around the life of Babli Tanvar (Tamannaah), who is a family girl. She decides to marry a man chosen by her parents. Eventually, she falls for Viraj (Abhishek Bajaj). However, Viraj likes women who are independent.

Realizing this fact, Babli takes training and becomes a bouncer at a pub in Delhi. How her life changed after taking up the bouncer job forms the main crux of the film.

The story is very linear, and there are no exciting elements in it. Even drama didn't work the way it should have. Madhur Bhandarkar showed his brilliance in writing in films like Fashion, Chandini Bar, and Page 3. That magic is missing in Babli Bouncer.

Thus, Babli bouncer becomes a boring watch for the audience. It ended up as another disaster in Tamannaah's career. People who still want to watch the film can catch it on Hotstar. It is available in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
