Balagam Trailer: Rooted Rural Telangana Drama

HYDERABAD: Comedian Venu aka Tillu is making his debut as a director with the film Balagam. Ace producer Dil Raju's daughter Hanshitha Reddy is producing the project under the Dil Raju Productions banner. Priyadarshi and Kavya Kalyanram (Masooda fame) play the lead roles in it.

The theatrical trailer of Balagam is out now. It was released by Vijay Deverakonda. Going by it, Balagam looks like a rooted rural drama set in rural Telangana. The story revolves around an old man and his grandson. The exploration of their lives and their village is the crux of the film.

The trailer takes us to the rural world. Be it the characters or their dialogues or the visuals, everything looks very authentic. Of late, films with realistic and authentic touches are doing well at the box office. If everything goes well, Balagam will also join the list.

Bheems Ceciroleo composed the music for this film. Acharya Venu handled the cinematography. Harshith Reddy bankrolled it along with Hanshitha. Balagam is slated for a worldwide release on March 3. If it clicks well at the box office, we can expect Dil Raju to produce more small-budget films in the coming days.
