HYDERABAD: Aditya 369 is one of the landmark films in Nandamuri Balakrishna's career. Directed by Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao, this film was released in 1991. After a gap of more than three decades, a sequel to this movie is going to be made.
Balakrishna announced Aditya 369's sequel long back. He also named it, 'Aditya 999 Max'. He penned the script for it. This is the first time Balayya turned into a writer in his career. He wanted to take it on the floors for a long time but that isn't happening due to his other work commitments.
Recently, Balayya spoke about it in the latest episode of Unstoppable Season 2. While speaking with Sharwanand about Oke Oka Jeevitham, Balayya said that he remembered Aditya 369 while watching this film. He then revealed that he is planning to start Aditya 999 Max next year.
However, we don't know who will direct this project. Will it be Singeetham again? or will Balayya opt for a young director? or will he decide to take the director's seat himself? Let's wait and see. Currently, Balayya is busy with the works of his next film Veera Simha Reddy, which is being directed by Gopichand Malineni.
