Big Blow to Rashmika in Bollywood

Rashmika Mandanna is unarguably the most happening actress in Indian cinema right now. Currently, she is busy with Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada films in her hand. Most of her films are also doing wonders at the box office and made her a top actress in the country.

Recently, Rashmika bagged a biggie in Bollywood. She was signed up as the female lead in Tiger Shroff's film Screwdheela. Dharma Productions was bankrolling the project, and Shashank Khaitan was the director of it.

However, the film is shelved as of now.

According to the sources, Dharma Productions decided to keep Screwdheela on hold due to budget issues. Apparently, the budget for this film went up to Rs. 140 crores, including marketing costs. It is heard that Tiger himself demanded 35 crores as remuneration.

Already, Bollywood is struggling for the last few months as many big films are bombing at the box office. People are not willing to get into theatres. Thus, Dharma's head Karan Johar thought that it is not a wise move to spend such a huge amount when the market is poor.

So, Screwdheela may get launched once the Bollywood market gets revived. In that way, Rashmika's Bollywood biggie got canceled due to unavoidable circumstances.
