Big hopes flying on Akhil Akkineni's Agent; Film releases tomorrow

HYDERABAD: Akhil Akkineni, the young and dynamic actor of Tollywood, is all set for the release of his upcoming film, Agent, a high-octane spy thriller directed by Surender Reddy. The team is leaving no stone unturned to create massive hype around the film. In a promotional stunt, the actor recently jumped off a 172 building using ropes, leaving the crowd cheering in awe. Later, the pre-release event also created some buzz.

The film unit initially failed to create a special interest among the audiences, with the audio album. Both the songs that were released so far, could not make any noise on social media. But, the trailer has set up some expectations around the film.

With the film set to release on April 28, the team is aggressively promoting the movie. From the beginning itself, the film underwent multiple delays and the makers chalked out multiple plans to take the film to the audiences intensely. There are a lot of hopes in the film and the Akkineni fans are expecting that the film becomes a big hit at the box office.

It's been a while since Akhil made his debut in Tollywood but he is yet to make an impressive mark at the box office. The film Agent is a must-win for the actor considering the huge stakes involved. In many areas, the film was reportedly sold for high prices which is a big test for Akhil's market and stardom now.

The music department of the film is handled by Hip Hop Tamizha who earlier did Dhruva in Telugu. Vakkantham Vamshi is the film's story writer. Anil Sunkara is the film's producer.
