Biopic of Madhubala gets announced

Madhubala was a star in the early generation of Bollywood. She was considered one of the most beautiful and talented actresses in the history of Indian cinema. Now, a biopic on her life has been announced officially. The project will be bankrolled by Madhubala's youngest sister Madhur Brij Bhushan along with Brewing Thoughts Pvt. Ltd (producers of Shaktimaan).

According to the reports, the producers are in talks with a top director and a top actress. If everything goes as planned, the film will hit the floors early next year.

Brij Bhushan said that it was her long-lasting dream to produce the biopic of her beloved sister. She is happy that it is happening now finally. She is confident that the film will be made on a grand level. More details about the project are expected to be announced in the coming days.

Madhubala was born on February 14, 1933. She made her acting debut at the age of 9. In a career spanning almost two decades, Madhubala acted in 73 films. Her role of 'Anarkali' from Mughal-E-Azam is still considered one of the best characters in Indian cinema.
