Bollywood filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri pokes Prabhas' fans unnecessarily

HYDERABAD: Bollywood director Vivek Agnihotri has a bone to pick with Rebel Star Prabhas. He has repeatedly indirectly taunted or criticized Prabhas, citing various reasons. This time, he has made unnecessary comments regarding Prabhas and Prashanth Neel's highly anticipated movie, Salaar, which coincides with the release of Vivek's upcoming film, The Vaccine War, on September 28.

Vivek Agnihotri has been openly countering Prabhas's other movie, Adipurush, both directly and indirectly. With the clash between Salaar and The Vaccine War on the horizon, Vivek appears to have no apprehensions about this face-off. He boldly refers to how his previous film, The Kashmir Files, performed exceptionally well despite releasing alongside Prabhas's Radhe Shyam.

The Kashmir Files and Radhe Shyam were released on March 11, 2022. Interestingly, while Radhe Shyam faced disappointment and was considered a disaster at the box office, The Kashmir Files emerged as a sleeper hit, garnering tremendous success and crossing the 300-crore mark in collections

With this previous experience in mind, Vivek seems confident that his film can hold its ground in the face of tough competition from Prabhas's Salaar.
