Box-Office: Brahmasthra collects Rs. 160 Cr gross in 2 days
Karan Johar shared a picture indicating that the film made revenue of 75 Cr gross on the first day
Brahmasthra is one of the recently released films in the country. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, the film is directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film opened to negative reviews from the critics but there is a sharp increase in the film's revenue on the second day of its release.
Taking to his Twitter profile yesterday, Karan Johar shared a picture indicating that the film made revenue of 75 Cr gross on the first day of its release.
The trade reports confirm that the film collected an overall revenue of Rs 85 crores worldwide gross on the second day, taking its total collection so far to Rs 160 crores gross in total.
Akkineni Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, and others played pivotal roles in the film. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was seen in a special cameo of the movie.
Brahmasthra is bankrolled by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Namit Malhotra, and Ayan Mukerji, in association with Ranbir Kapoor and Marijke DeSouza.
The film's first part is titled Brahmasthra: Part One - Shiva.
