Regardless of a film's scale, whether it's a modest production or a major blockbuster, audience judgment remains unwavering. In October, approximately ten movies hit the silver screen. But, only one film, 'Mad,' emerged as a blockbuster.

Among these releases were conventional films such as "Rules Ranjan," "Mama Malchindra," "Month of Madhu," "Endira Ee Panchayiti," "Guns Trans Action," and "Abhiramchandra."

Additionally, there was the release of "800," the biopic of cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan, along with Siddharth Chinna's dubbed films and "Exorcist."

While "800" and "Chinna" displayed merit, they failed to connect strongly with the Telugu audience. But one movie that has been receiving resounding applause is "Mad." This film, characterized as a full-fledged comedy entertainer in the vein of "Jati Ratnala," has steadily increased its box office collections.

The ensemble cast of "Mad" includes Narne Nithin, Sangeet Shobhan, Ram Nithin, Shri Gauri Priya Reddy, Anantika Sanil Kumar, Gopika Udyan, Raghubabu, and others in pivotal roles. Directed by Kalyan Shankar and produced by Harika Suryadevara and Sai Saujanya, the film has been presented by Naga Vamshi.

In a promising development, Netflix has acquired the OTT rights for this film, which is making significant strides at the box office. It is anticipated that the movie will be available for streaming on Netflix during the first week of November.
