Brahmastra opens to Rs 75 cr gross on release day

Brahmasthra: Part One - Shiva is one of the new releases at the box office. Amidst huge expectations, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer was released at the ticket windows. Alia Bhatt played the leading lady. The film was released across the world yesterday in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages. The film's producer Karan Johar is extremely happy with the film's revenue on the release day.
Karan Johar shared an update on the film's theatrical run on the opening day. Taking to his Twitter profile, Karan Johar shared a picture indicating that the film made a revenue of 75 Cr gross on the first day of its release.
Sharing the picture, Karan Johar wrote, "Humbled…grateful…yet can't control my excitement! Thank you."
Brahmasthra part one reportedly collected around 35 Cr rupees in all versions at the domestic box office, on the release day.
The film also features Akkineni Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in key roles. Shah Rukh Khan also shined in a cameo role.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmasthra is bankrolled by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Namit Malhotra, and Ayan Mukerji, in association with Ranbir Kapoor and Marijke DeSouza.
