Buzz: MS Dhoni to make acting debut for Lokesh Kanagaraj

HYDERABAD: A few days back, it was reported that former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is venturing into movie production in South India. It was stated that Dhoni will produce films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.

If the latest grapevine is anything to go by, Dhoni is planning to bankroll a project which will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The Kollywood media also stated that there are chances of Dhoni producing Lokesh's upcoming film with Thalapathy Vijay. However, these are just rumours and nothing has been confirmed officially as of now.

It is also being heard that Dhoni will be producing a Tamil film which will be directed by Ramesh Thamilmani. Apparently, this is a family drama which is conceptualized by Dhoni's wife Sakshi. We have to see which one of these films will become Dhoni's maiden production venture.

On the flip side, Lokesh Kanagaraj scored a massive blockbuster this year with Vikram. He is currently busy with the pre-production works of Vijay's film. The regular shoot of this movie will begin once Vijay gets done with the works of his ongoing project Varisu.
