HYDERABAD: Megastar Chiranjeevi and Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja's "Waltair Veerayya" is emerging as the Sankranti winner. The team celebrated Veerayya Vijaya Viharam in Warangal with special guest Ram Charan, and the event was a huge success with a large turnout. Naveen Yerneni, the producer, stated that "Waltair Veerayya" is an industry hit and they are surprised by the daily collections, surpassing even the breakeven mark and 20% commission for a blockbuster.

Chiranjeevi praised the success of "Waltair Veerayya," saying it was close to 250 crore gross and a hit beyond Baahubali, RRR, and SSR. He credited director Bobby for his hard work and planning, which kept the budget under control.

Chiranjeevi reminisced his memories of visiting Warangal and said his character in the movie reminded people of his classic hits. He praised Charan for his acting in "Rangasthalam" and congratulated NTR, Keeravani, Rajamouli, and Chandrabose on their Golden Globe and Oscar nominations for "RRR."

Chiranjeevi also noted that he didn't use glycerine for an emotional scene in the movie and said he added a kissing act to elevate a death scene.
