Chiranjeevi reveals why he picked Salman over Aamir in Godfather

Aamir Khan is coming up with his new film Laal Singh Chaddha. Directed by Advaith Chandan, this movie features Kareena Kapoor Khan as the female lead. It is slated for a worldwide release on August 11. It is also releasing in Tamil and Telugu. Megastar Chiranjeevi is presenting the Telugu version.

Recently, Aamir held a press meet with the Telugu media. Chiranjeevi and Naga Chaitanya (who played a key role in the movie) also attended the meet.

It is already known that Chiranjeevi roped in Salman Khan to play a key role in his upcoming film Godfather. During the press meet, Aamir openly asked Chiru the reason behind picking Salman over him.

Aamir stated, "I am a big fan of Chiranjeevi garu. I was telling him to give me an opportunity to return and do something for him. He said, 'I will call you.' Two days later, he said that he is shooting with Salman. Sir, you called Salman and why didn't you call me?"

Responding to him, Chiru said, "'It is not acting with a brain or heart, but it is physically. That's the reason why we opted for Salman." As Aamir expresses his interest now, we have to see if these powerhouse performers team up together in the future.
