The film is set to be directed by Kalyan Krishna, and ever since the news broke, fans have been eagerly awaiting an official confirmation. However, there is no clarity if this is a remake film or a movie being made with a own story.

Earlier, there were rumors that the film might be a remake of the Malayalam hit 'Bro Daddy,' but the latest reports indicate otherwise. Speculations have been rife about the casting for the role of Chiranjeevi's son in the film. Initially, it was rumored that young hero Siddu Jonnalagadda was being considered for the part. However, recent reports suggest that Siddu might not be interested in the project.
