HYDERABAD: Following the release of "Bholaa Shankar," Chiranjeevi seems to have taken a definitive stance on starring in the remakes. Recognizing the evolving landscape of entertainment driven by the rise of OTT platforms and digital media, Chiranjeevi appears to have become more discerning in his script selection process.

In a recent interaction with the megastar, a well-known producer attempted to persuade him to greenlight a modified version of the successful Malayalam film "Bhishma Parvam," originally featuring Mammootty. The producer argued that the narrative was tailor-made for the local audience and held significant potential for box office success.

However, Chiranjeevi, drawing lessons from his past experiences, chose to decline the offer despite the enticing prospects.

The underwhelming box office performances of remakes like "God Father" (a remake of "Lucifer") and "Bholaa Shankar" (a remake of "Vedhalam") seem to have influenced Chiranjeevi's caution and vigilance when it comes to choosing scripts.

Chiranjeevi's newfound approach to script selection demonstrates his adaptability to the changing dynamics of the film industry and also realizing that his fans does not want him to do the remakes but come up with straight films with more commercial appeal.
