Confidence or Over Confidence: Sandeep Vanga on Prabhas' Next!

HYDERABAD: Renowned for his candid demeanor, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, recognised for his work in Arjun Reddy, has recently stirred the cinematic world with his latest venture, Animal. Despite facing its fair share of criticism, the film has triumphed at the box office, garnering praise from numerous quarters within the industry.

Now, Vanga's sights are set on his next project, teaming up with the formidable star Prabhas. Prabhas's role in Salaar has already captivated audiences and box offices alike. In a recent interview with Bharadwaj Rangan, Vanga discussed the development of Spirit.

Prabhas is set to portray an upright police officer in the film. While admitting that only 60 percent of the script has been finalised, Vanga revealed that shooting is slated to commence in December.

Vanga hinted at a distinctive vision for Spirit, expressing hope that audiences will embrace it. He disclosed his intention to delve into Prabhas' character's reactions to adversity, believing that the anticipation preceding his response holds intrinsic allure.

Addressing concerns about the film's substantial budget, Vanga confidently asserted that the producer's investment of over 300 crores would prove worthwhile. He also predicted that the film would do more than 150 Cr rupees on the first day of its release.
