HYDERABAD: The highly anticipated film 'Guntur Kaaram' is currently undergoing significant changes in its cast and crew. From the initial lineup that included Pooja Hegde as the first heroine, Sreeleela as the second heroine, and Thaman as the music composer, the project has taken a different direction.

Speculations regarding Thaman's involvement have surfaced, and it has been confirmed that Pooja Hegde has opted out of the film due to scheduling conflicts. Sreeleela has now taken the lead as the main heroine, while the search for a second female lead has intrigued fans and industry insiders.

Reports suggest that Samyuktha Menon was initially considered, but due to her recent successes, she may not be interested in playing a supporting role. Another name in consideration is Malavika Mohanan, known for her glamorous looks and her ongoing project with Prabhas in 'Raja Deluxe'. Including a talented actress like Malavika could provide a significant career boost for her in Tollywood.

At the same time, Meenakshi Chaudhary's name too popped up in the media as she could also be a value addition to the film. Meanwhile, Faria Abdullah's name is also heard in the film. But, there is no official clarity from the movie unit.
