HYDERABAD: The combination of Lady Superstar Nayanthara and director Ashwin Saravanan gave us a super hit horror film Maya (Mayuri in Telugu) in the past. After a gap of seven years, they have teamed up once again and come up with a new film titled Connect.
The Telugu theatrical trailer of this movie was unveiled by Prabhas recently. Going by the trailer, Connect looks like an absolute true-blue horror flick. The story is set around the nationwide lockdown announced in 2020. How a young girl is possessed by a spirit after the lockdown forms the main crux of the movie.
The plot point is interesting and it gives us chills for sure. Apart from Nayanthara, the film features Vinay Rai, Satya Raj and Anupam Kher in pivotal roles. Maya was considered one of the best horror flicks in the recent past. Now, there are high expectations around this movie as well.
Connect is produced by Vignesh Shivan under his banner Rowdy Pictures. UV Creations is releasing the film in Telugu. Connect will have a worldwide release in Tamil and Telugu on December 22.
