HYDERABAD: According to a report by 'Variety', S.S. Rajamouli's blockbuster film 'RRR' has been nominated for three awards at the third annual Critics Choice Super Awards. The winners will be announced on March 16. 'RRR' has been shortlisted for the best action movie award.
'Bullet Train', 'Top Gun: Maverick', 'The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent', and 'The Woman King' also received nominations. Additionally, the two lead stars of the film, Ram Charan and Junior NTR, have been nominated for the best actor in an action movie award, alongside Hollywood A-listers Nicolas Cage ('The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent'), Tom Cruise ('Top Gun: Maverick'), and Brad Pitt ('Bullet Train').
Warner Bros' highly anticipated film 'The Batman' leads the film nominees with six nods, including best superhero movie. Other favorites of the Critics Choice Association, as noted by 'Variety', include some of this year's Oscar nominees such as 'Avatar: The Way of Water', 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever', 'Everything Everywhere All at Once', and 'Top Gun: Maverick'.
It will be surprising to see both Ram Charan and NTR fighting on one another to grab the award. With both the actors performing well, there is a fair chance for any of the one to take the award. Ahead of the Oscars, team RRR is planning to catch a maximum attention.
